What is UTOPiAfest? UTOPiAfest is a unique campout festival in Utopia, TX offering mind-blowing musical performances and West Texas Hill Country sunsets. Presented in a natural amphitheater on the 1,000-acre Four Sisters Ranch (between Garner State Park and Lost Maples), UTOPiAfest is a true alternative to the large multiple-stage festivals that often favor quantity over a quality audience experience.With only two stages and only 2000 tickets being sold, fans will have plenty of space to dance and enjoy full sets by world-touring bands from a variety of genres. UTOPiAfest is thoughtfully designed to allow creativity, music, and new friendships to flourish in a unique and intimate setting.
Where is UTOPiAfest? Utopia, TX is 3 hrs SW of Austin and 1.5 NW of San Antonio. Between Garner State Park and Lost Maples. Close to Kerrvillle. Down the road from Bandera. Please print the map and driving directions because GPS does not work in Utopia.

How are tickets processed? Order online. Tickets will be emailed to you immediately. If you don’t see them, check your junk mail. If you still don’t see them, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Each ticket will be scanned at the front gate. The QR code on the ticket is what makes each ticket unique. It is ok if the ticket has a different name than the ticket holder.
What food will be available? See the Food Forest page to plan out your meals. We host the best food trailers from around the state, including meat, vegan, and vegetarian options. Feel free to bring your own food and cook in the REI community cook area. Coffee and Ice will be for sale.
When does the gate open/close and music begin? Check the official schedule for updates/changes.

Thursday September 29 pre-party: gate opens at 4 and music begins at 8pm (requires a pre-party pass in addition to two-day pass). No entry after midnight.
Friday: gate opens at 9am and music begins in the afternoon. No entry after midnight.
Saturday: gate opens at 9am and music begins at noon. No entry after midnight.
There is no music on Sunday.

Do you have to camp? There are many great cabin rentals available! You can also bring out the RV (RV pass required).
How does parking/camping work? Free parking lots are available, and you have the option to shuttle gear to the campgrounds. Free camping is available in designated campgrounds. If you prefer to camp next to your car, you are required to purchase a car-camping pass and camp in the designated car-camping area.
How does the shuttle work? After you enter the grounds, you’ll unload your gear at a ‘drop zone’, where you’ll be greeted by UTOPiAns that will help you load it onto a shuttle (truck and trailer). After you park, you’ll ride to the campgrounds and decide where to unload and set up.
What is the speed limit on county roads? 30! Please observe, and make sure your car has current tags and working lights. The surrounding areas will have increased patrols.
Are there showers? Yes, for $5.
Whats the water situation? There will be bottled water for sale, and a fill up station.
Will fires/stoves be allowed? Dependant burn ban. . REI will have a community cook area set up, with stoves and a dishwashing station.
Are pets allowed? We love them, but no pets are allowed.
Can I get a ride to UTOPiAfest? There is a Facebook group to coordinate carpooling.
Are RVs/Campers/Other Things That Aren’t Tents allowed? Yes, but they require an RV area pass (limited availability).
Are there hookups for RVs? No hookups will be available.
Is there cell service/internet? There is no Internet access, and typically, only AT&T has limited cell phone service.
Will there be security and EMS? Yes, 24 hours a day. Don’t hesitate to ask for help.
What should I bring?
Any food or beverages. (No Glass) Fireman’s 4 cans recommended. (For 21+)
Cool clothes for the day and warm clothes for the night.
