Recently there have been a couple blog posts listing 50 reasons why Texas and Austin are actually utopia. While we certainly agree, we feel that the most utopian place is, well……

Black Swan Yoga Centers UTOPiAfest

What better place to find a peace than Utopia? Black Swan Yoga will be out at UTOPiAfest 2012 to help you find a little nirvana.

Here is a little information on the amazing instructors we have coming out:

• Joshua Whisenhunt has been practicing since 2004. He originally began with a physical focus, but has since found it as a means to enrich his spiritual journey. His main areas of focus are the Kundalini and Asana disciplines. Through teaching, he empowers people to listen to their intuition, giving them tools to heal the body, mind and spirit in a way that honors their path. He invites you to learn something new about yourself with every breath.

Joshua will be leading a special sunset yoga session set to the enchanting sounds of Kaki King during her set on Friday night! It will be a 60-minute, all-levels class that will help invigorate you for the festival weekend. Come ready with your mat, towel, and water bottle!

• Laura Joy DeBolt suffered for years from chronic back pain and was ready to give in to living with it for the rest of her life. She decided to try yoga as a last ditch effort to find relief and fell in love. In the beginning, she had to practice with modified moves but had found happiness. Over time, she developed a new core strength and flexibility that allowed for her to live pain free! By this time, she realized she had already begun her spiritual journey. She hopes to share her bliss with you.

Laura will be leading a full-body, feel-good Vinyasa Flow class on Saturday. It will be challenging but fun and students of all-levels are encouraged to take part.
