UTOPiAfest is located in the beautiful West Texas Hill Country between Garner State Park and Lost Maples. Utopia, TX is three hours southwest of Austin and 1.5 hours west of San Antonio. The peaceful drive out will take your breath away. And if you want to have some local fun, funky little towns like Bandera, Leakey, and Concan are just down the road. To cool off, the crystal-clear Sabinal, Medina, and Frio Rivers lazily flow through the area.

2. In Sabinal, turn right onto TX-127 N/N Center St/Farm to Market Rd. 187. The turn is between a Shell and a One Stop station.
3. After 1.3 miles, stay straight on RR 187 for 23.9 mi.
Stay on RR 187 all the way through Utopia, for approximately 3 miles.
4. Turn left on W. Sabinal Rd, and stay on it for 1.7 mi. This will be in the middle of a big right curve in the road.
5. When Sabinal Rd. veers to the right (1.6mi.), stay straight onto Lemond Rd.
6. After .2 miles, turn left at the cattle guard, to stay on Lemond Rd.(There’s a dead end sign on the right).
1. From 1-10, take exit 540 for TX-46 E
2. Take TX-46 W for 11 mi.
3. Take a right at TX-16 for 11.9 mi to Bandera
4. Take a right to stay on 16 for another 2.8 mi.
5. Turn left on RR 470 for 28.6 mi.
6. At the Y, bear right to stay on 187 for another 1.2 mi.
7. When Sabinal Rd. veers to the right, stay straight onto Lemond Rd.
8. After .2 miles, turn left at the cattle guard, to stay on Lemond Rd.(There’s a dead end sign on the right)
9. Follow Lemond Rd. Stay right when at the Y. You will cross two other cattle guards before taking a left at the third.
From Kerrville
1. Head South on TX-173 S/RR 689 for 24 mi.
2. Turn right at 16 for 2.3 mi.
3. Turn left on RR 470 for 28.6 mi.
4. At the Y, bear right to stay on 187 for another 1.2 mi.
5. Turn left on W. Sabinal Rd, and stay on it for 1.7 mi. This will be in the middle of a big right curve in the road.
